The Rubik’s cube club will be meeting today after school in Ms. Lindsey's room 150. Students will have an opportunity to practice their mad Rubik's cube skills and compete against one another. 

The first meeting of the Dungeons and Dragons intramural will be Monday, October 17th in Ms. Riley's room after school from 3:30-4:20pm

 

Never been to a science club meeting before? Why don't you join us for our next meeting after school on Tuesday October 18th at North in room 103. It will be a wild ride! Don't miss it.  

Be sure to dress for the weather for the next Conservation Club meeting after school on Wednesday 10/19. We will meet in Mrs. Bruno's room 221 and then walk to Peck Farm to help them with some seed collection. We will be back at school in time for the 4:30 activity bus. Never been to a conservation club meeting, but want to join us? Email Mrs. Bruno or Mrs. Brady to find out how you can be a part of the fun!

Monday's SS Club meeting has been cancelled.  Please don't forget to return your permission slip for our field trip to Cantigny in Wheaton. 

Can you sing, dance, juggle, solve a Rubics Cube?  Have you been told that you should be on stage because you are entertaining, have a special talent, or should be an MC?  Then the Variety Show is just for you.  Looking for talented 6th, 7th and 8th graders to be part of the most entertaining show of the year!  You can sign up for an audition time in the Main Office or in the 7 White Team Center with Mr. Japlon.  Auditions take place the week of October 24th.  See Mr. Japlon in 7 White with any questions.   

 

 

From the Sports Desk:

The 2022 season came to a close last night for the Geneva Middle School Viking football team with a dominant win over the Redhawks of Wredling Middle School. Quarterback Ben Peterson and wide-out Bennett Konkey connected for a trio of touchdowns and Peterson added a fourth on the ground. After giving up a single score early in the first half, the Viking defense shut down the Redhawks, led by relentless play from Ryder Krempin, Tate Beran, Alex Abraham, Ben Raby, Nelson Wendell, Hermann Schamberger, and Luke Ignoffo. The final score: 28-6 as the Vikings remained undefeated and hoisted the trophy as Fox River Conference champions.

Vikings: don't forget today's pizza party immediately after school in the contest gym at GMS North. 

 

Winter athletics are beginning soon. 7th/8th grade Boys Basketball tryouts, 7th/8th grade coed cheerleading tryouts, and 6th/ 7th/8th coed wrestling practice all begin on October 17. You must have a current physical on file in the main office and a parent must register you on the athletic website in order to participate in tryouts and practice.
