Mrs. Abshire’s 8th grade girls’ group will not meet today. 


May is Mental Health Awareness month.  To help kick off Mental Health Awareness month, we’re going to have a spirit week next week! First up on Monday is “Move it Forward Monday”.  Wear your college, military or vocational wear. Posters on self-care, tips and awareness for mental health can be found throughout the building. For more information, please see the staff in the guidance office.


Students with overdue books or fines for damaged books will receive a notice from 1st period teachers today. All books and fines are due May 17th. 


Geneva High School has invited us to be a part of their community art project. If you would like to participate and make a poster, stop by the library and get more information. While supplies last! Don't miss this opportunity to join in the fun!


Gaming Club meets from 3:30-4:20 on Tuesday.  Come celebrate Star Wars Week with some of the greatest Star Wars games of all time!


Women's History month takes place in March, but the 8th grade "Influential Women" bookmark project is on display in the library. Students can vote for their favorite bookmarks as directed by their social studies teachers. Staff, stop by any period to vote. The voting concludes at the end of the school day today. 


Be sure to stop by the next Science Club meeting on Tuesday May 2nd in room 103 at North. We will be engineering a surprise after school until 4:25. Don't miss it!
