The Library Wheel of Fortune winners from last week are Isabella Sida, Owen O’Brien and Mark Goetze, and the teacher winner is Mrs. Spring!  Congrats everyone – be sure to stop by the library to get your prize.

Read Across America Week is here!  Hope you all had fun wearing your PJ’s to school today. Be a superhero for tomorrow’s Read to Learn day.  Dress as your favorite superhero or invent your own!  

8th grade students in third trimester Digital Design...Did you just download Photoshop for Mr. Kristofer's class? If so, please make sure you give your laptop to Mrs. Main before you go to PE today.  She'll change some settings on your and make sure Photoshop is working for you. You can pick your laptop up after PE.

 

6th graders – Join us tomorrow night from 6-7pm for pizza and a pow-wow with author Adam P. Schmitt of Speechless.  Permission slips and flyers are available from your LA teacher or in the library.  Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity!

 

7th and 8th graders! Coming up next week is an outing JUST FOR YOU!  On Friday, March 13th, all 7th and 8th graders are invited to go to Lazer X from 3:30 – 7:00.  It’s only $20 per person and permission slips are available in the office.

Chess Club will meet this Thursday after school from 3-4 in the GMS South library! Come join us after school until 4:25 for some chess! Students need a ride or to hop on the activity bus after we meet!

The 8th grade girls A basketball team lost to Batavia last Wednesday night.  Lexi Meier and Lucy Buchanan had nice all-around games.  That wrapped up the Vikings regular season and it locked them in to 3rd in the conference. 

The 7th grade A team battled and played hard against undefeated Batavia last night but couldn't come away with the victory.  Sophia Broderick continued her three-point trend, knocking down two three-pointers and Mekdes Geary tallied four points.
