The Conservation Club will meet after school today in Mrs. Brady's room until 4:30 PM.  If you have never been, now would be a great time to try it out!  

 

Social Studies club will be meeting on Monday after school in Mr. Fader’s room 112 until 4:20.

 

Student Council’s next meeting is tomorrow at 8:00 am in the library.   There will be a special guest!

 

Are you ready for some March Madness?  FCA is hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament after school at North on Friday, March 8th.  If you would like to play in this tournament, please pick up a form in the office or stop by Ms. Beyer's room, room 223.  You will need to put together a team of 3 to 5 players.  All teams must wear matching t-shirts and the cost is $5 per player.  All proceeds will be going to Phil's Friends, a charity that supports local cancer patients.  A few high school students will be leading a short devotion before the tournament begins. Sign up ends tomorrow, February 29th.  We hope you can join us.

 

The Dungeons and Dragons Club will meet today after school in Ms. Riley's room. We would love to see you there!

 

Today is the last day to vote for the 2024 Rebecca Caudill Award! Check your email for directions. If you have any questions, are unsure if you have read three, or are unsure how to vote, stop by the library! South's winner will be announced TOMORROW!

 

 

From the Sports Desk:

 

The 7th grade girls’ A basketball team played tough but couldn't come away with the win against North.  Bella Frye showed some great hustle and knocked down a big bucket.

 

The 7th grade girls’ B team came up short yesterday vs North. Holly had some great steals, and Anna scored a couple big baskets!

The 8th grade girls’ team took care of business last night against their campus rivals.  It was a great team effort as South defeated North by 17. Coach Nora was very pleased.
