As you decorate for the holidays, please don't throw broken and nonfunctional strands of lights in the garbage.  Instead, bring them to school to be recycled.  There are drop boxes in each team center.

From the Sports Desk:

The 8th grade A team gave it their all last night against Herget but came up 5 points short. The Vikings battled the entire season. Coach Gates and Coach Sharko want to thank them for their hard work.

Unfortunately, the 8th grade boys B team season came to a conclusion last night. After a slow start, the team persevered and battled back to take the lead.  The boys ran out of gas at the end, but they showed tremendous improvement throughout the year and finished the season with a 7-3 record. Congrats to the entire team on a great season.

Both the A and B 7th grade teams won in last night's Conference Tournament games with the A team defeating Aurora Jewel and the B team defeating Aurora Washington.  Both teams will play tonight with hopes of advancing to the finals.
