From the Sports Desk:

The 8th grade girls’ basketball team couldn't hang on to an early lead against Batavia last night.  They get a chance to quickly turn things tonight at the Harter tournament.

The 7th grade girls' basketball team stormed out of the gate at a packed house against Batavia.  Haddie Wilkinson led the charge for the A team as they defeated Batavia 35-26.  For the B girls, Caramia Cronin played great in the post and had a big bucket, but the girls came up just short.
