From the Sports Desk:

The Wredling RedHawks traveled to South last night to play your Geneva Vikings. The 7th grade A team succumbed to their first loss of the season. Haddie Wilkison shined as libero in the second game while Macy Sabo stepped up as a leader. Keeping the team focused and determined! The B team started off slow, but Wredling left crying home as they dominated the second and third set. Molly Barber was a beast at the net with saves and sets for days! Caramia Cronin had an astounding 15 point serving steak. Bella Frye came to play, she never let a ball drop in the back row and had a 7-point serving streak.

Yesterday, the 8th grade volleyball team traveled to the distant land of St. Charles to take on the Wredling RedHawks. The A team was led by Avery Hauth's incredible defense and Teagan Lee's killer swings. The B team was led by Gabs Pecaro's powerful serves and Ella Downing's big blocks at the net. Unfortunately, the RedHawks' found their (s)wings and handed the Vikings their first loss of the season. The Vikings look to bounce back against Rotolo on Tuesday.
