Winners of a free Alan Gratz book from our Alan Gratz Book Talks in the Library are Reese Cowan, Maggie Biesk, and Mable Jackson. Please pick up your books in the library if you have not done so already. 

 

The Scholastic Bookfair will be going on all week. Come get some great books & have a chance to win some prizes. Donate a book or round up your purchase to benefit our teacher classroom libraries. 

 

Don’t forget about the Epic Air intramural coming up this Thursday, October 12th!  Permission slips are due today.  

 

Please join Ms. Mack for a “Halloween Cook-tacular” on October 24th or 26th in the FACS room. Students will only sign up for one of the dates. You will be cooking fall themed foods like pumpkin bread and spider cookies! The cost is $10 and permission slips can be picked up in the main office. 

 

 In Creative Writing Club News, all of the entries received votes and the results were close but congratulations to Maggie Biesk for winning the one-page story contest with her entry 'Unsinkable!" Second place goes to Brooke Lyles for 'The Fishing Man!' Job well done all!

 

Math club meets this Thursday after school at North in Mrs. Gain's room (Rm 122) until 4:20. Join us for a snack and some fun math activities. 

 

FCA Basketball will meet Tomorrow, 10/11 at 7:15am, for a character devotion and competitive scrimmage in North's Blue Gym. Please enter through the gym doors.
