Need a little extra help with your Math?  Well, beginning today, Drop-In Math Tutoring begins in the library every Tuesday and Thursday. You can come in before school from 7:45 – 8:30 or stay after school from 3:30 – 4:20.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (adolescents), or FCA has four core values we strive to uphold daily in our relationships with one another. They are Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence. FCA is not limited to student athletes. Students who attend FCA meetings will learn about what the Bible says regarding issues they face in and out of school. While sponsors are present at FCA meetings, FCA is led by students. This is a GMS campus club between both North and South. Our first meeting will take place this Friday at North in the community room at 7:45AM. Everyone is welcome to attend.

FCA Basketball starts tomorrow at 7:15am in North's Blue Gym. All are welcome to join for a character devotion and competitive scrimmage. If joining us, please enter the North gym doors to the left of the main entrance when facing the building.

There are two new intramurals coming up!

  1. Dungeons and Dragons with Ms. Riley!  The first meeting is Monday, September 18th after school in Ms. Riley's room 263.  New and experienced players are welcome!
  2. Conservation club with Mrs. Brady!  The first meeting is Wednesday, September 27th after school in Mrs. Brady's room 261.  This is a great opportunity to meet new people as well as help the community and the earth!

No need to sign up or get a permission slip.

From the Sports Desk:

Yesterday your JV Viking football team took on the Jaguars of Jewel Middle School at home. The Vikings started the game on the ground with a 50 yard touchdown run by Cody Brown. Cody Rader took over in the air throwing touchdowns to Austen Ganz, Cody Brown, Jake Fouth. Rader ended the game with over 130 yards passing.  The Viking defense was suffocating, holding the Jaguars to only 6 points while scoring 6 of their own on a scoop and score by Michael Lutzow. Special teams play was equally impressive with two onside kick recoveries: one by Ryan Mamminga and another by Kai Costello. The final score was 44-6.
