Stop by the library this week and vote on who your favorite literary duo is. Ballots are in a red box on the shelf where the magazines and newspapers are located. 

 

Attention all piano, guitar, bass players, and drummers who have been preparing audition music for the GMS South Jazz Band. Auditions are tomorrow, September 6th before school in the band room. Be sure to sign up for a time on the sheet located on the whiteboard in the band room. If you have misplaced your music please see Mr. Flaks ASAP.

 

Intramurals will be starting very soon and all students are invited to participate! The first two programs will be SOFTBALL beginning on Monday, September 10th after school and FLAG FOOTBALL beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 11th after school. Permission slips and more information are available in the main office. This is a great way to make new friends and have fun with your old friends!

 

6th Graders, don’t forget that the first 6th Grade Jivin’ Geneva is this Friday after school from 3:30 – 5:00. 

 

Homecoming week is September 10th -14th and our awesome, new student council has declared a super fun spirit week theme of TV Networks! So, listen up: Monday's spirit day is ESPN day, so you can wear your favorite sports jersey or tee, Tuesday is the Disney Channel, Wednesday is MTV, Thursday is Animal Planet and Friday is GTV, Geneva Television.  

 

From the Sports Desk:

The 8th grade volleyball teams powered through St. Patrick's last night. The A team was led by awesome serves from Bella Walls and Lauren Benson. It was a great team effort.

Ella madden and Mia Klein used their power serves to bring the B team to a victory.

Come support your lady Vikings on Thursday at home against Harter.
