Are you interested in going on the field trip to Anderson Animal Shelter to see what it takes to run an amazing shelter and care for all the wonderful sweet homeless pets? The trip is scheduled for June 4th after school and the cost to go is ONLY $5!  Permission slips with all the information are available in the office and will be due on May 31st. Better hurry though because space is limited!

Don’t forget that all library books and fines are due TODAY. Remember, if you don’t pay your fines, you won’t get your yearbook, so get that taken care of!

Last week’s library trivia winner is Kaeden Halbach!  Congratulations, Kaeden!  Be sure to stop by the library today to pick up your prize.

Congrats on finishing the FCA team fundraiser competition strong! Together, we reached our goal to provide a complete home for a family in crisis! A huge thank you for your compassion, generous giving, and enthusiastic support! Every donation, big and small, added up to greatly impact a family in Mozambique for the better.

And now for the winner....

The winner of the team block party is……6-Blue!!

6-White battled them to the very end, with $961 or 192 blocks, but 6-Blue held on with $1064 or 212 blocks of the home! Thank you to all the teams for helping build this home; you rock, South!

Writer’s Club’s final meeting is today!  Meet in the library after school.

There will be a Q&A session from 3:30-4:20 in the cafeteria at GMSS on Friday, May 31st for all 8th grade girls interested in joining the high school gymnastics team. Come meet with the freshman gymnastics coach and current team members to get an idea of what it is like to be part of high school gymnastics and to get answers to any questions you may have. We hope to see you there and can’t wait for you to become a member of the team!
