Are you an animal lover? Do you have a big-heart for homeless cats and dogs? Would you love to see a place that takes great care of homeless cats and dogs while they wait for their furever homes? Then the next Leo’s Club field trip is fur you! This is your chance to visit Anderson Animal Shelter and see what goes on behind the scenes at a truly wonderful shelter. The trip is scheduled for June 4th after school and the cost to go is ONLY $5! Permission slips with all the information are available in the office and will be due on May 31st. Better hurry though because space is limited!

Don’t forget that all library books and fines are due May 28th. And there’s good news – if you stop in the library this week you can get details on how to earn a fine forgiveness dollar.  Remember, if you don’t pay your fines, you won’t get your yearbook, so get that taken care of!

Good news, we've built about 20 percent of a home for a family in need, as of lunch yesterday! Last day of the competition is tomorrow! If each of us donates just $3, we will reach our goal to provide a warm home for an entire family in crisis. I hear PE is even offering you a no lap Friday if you donate $1 or more on your way to their class tomorrow. And our Cafeteria is even in on it.. for every cookie bought this Friday, Suduxo will donate 35 cents to this cause! Remember a block of a home is just $5, and the team that donates the most blocks, earns a block party in PE with friends, games, and a summer treat. As of lunch yesterday, 6-Blue is still in the lead with $216! 6-White is stepping up with $113 and trailing behind is 7-White with $53 and 8-White with $41. 7 & 8-Blue.. it’s time for a dramatic comeback! Let's go South! Give today or tomorrow and forever remember the lives we've touched.

Attention all 8th graders! Tomorrow is the Student vs. Faculty basketball game and any 8th grader can play! You can sign-up and grab a permission slip in the main office. 6th and 7th graders, you should definitely plan to stay after school on Friday to watch this epic battle between the edgy, efficient, exceptional 8th graders and the superb, seasoned, sharp-witted staff.
