Permission
slips for the Epic Air Intramural coming up on May 23rd are due next week. So, if you haven’t picked up your permission slip from the office yet, better hurry – time is running out!
Attention 6th & 7th grade students, your computer will be
audited today during your PE class. Please drop off your device on the labeled
tables in your team center on your way to PE. You can pick up the device after
PE class. Also, if you have physical or functional damage, please be sure to
see Mrs. Main at the help desk.
Due to a
devastating storm hitting Mozambique, FCA is hosting a team
competition fundraiser. With your help, we will provide a
family in need with a new home. Starting Monday, each school team
will race to build the most blocks of the home, by donating spare change or
generous dollars in the Library. With labor, each
"block" costs $5. It takes just 520 blocks to build a
quality home. The team that raises the most money will win
a "block party" to hang out with friends in PE -- free time
with music, games, and a summer treat to enjoy. If you want to make
posters for this cause, see Mrs. Gates in Guidance during your lunch today!
Don’t forget that all library books and fines are due May 28th. If you don’t pay your fines, you won’t get your yearbook, so get that taken care of!

graders! Coming NEXT Friday, May 24th
is the Student vs. Faculty basketball game and any 8th grader can
play! You can sign-up and grab a
permission slip in the main office.
Yearbook
Staff Members, the final Yearbook meeting of the year will be on Monday, May 20th in Mr. Sempsrott’s room. We will be
organizing and labeling yearbooks for delivery and eating pizza! This meeting will run until 5:30.
Writing Club’s final meeting this year is going to be next week Tuesday, May 21st
right here at South.
