From the Sports Desk:
The 7th grade girls’ A basketball team stormed out
of the gate against Wredling and never looked back. Caroline Madden and Lexi Meier were running
the fast break like the Duke Blue Devils to end the half as Caroline assisted
Lexi on 6 points the last 45 seconds of the first half. Ally Ward had a monster game on the glass and
was dominant on the offensive end tallying 14 points. Great team win.
The 8th girls’ basketball team hosted Wredling last
night. Neither the snow, ice, wind, or
Wredling could stop the girls this time. With Mr. Bleau scouting for the Student-Faculty game in the stands, the
girls put on a great show. Hanna Van
Camp and Payton Smith erased a 7 point 1st half deficit to lead the A team to
an 8-point win.
In the B game, Abby McMillian set a Vikings record
by scoring 17 points in the second half alone to give them a narrow victory
too. Mr. Bleau, the girls will be ready
for you.
