8th grade students, your computer AND charger are being collected TODAY during MATH (not Science) class. You are required to turn in both items, and if either is broken or missing, then you will be required to pay for its replacement. If you know you will be unable to turn in a charger because you have lost yours, then please turn in a check or cash in the amount of $40 to the main office; your yearbook will be held until you turn in the payment.

Attention all students who are interested in playing piano, guitar, or bass in next year’s GMS Jazz Band.  Audition music is now available.  Please stop in the main office and pick up a packet of audition music.  This music should be practiced this summer for auditions that will take place at the beginning of school in the fall.  Don’t forget to get your music before summer comes!

As you are cleaning out your lockers over the next couple of weeks, don’t forget to put old markers that don’t work in the boxes in the team center instead of the garbage.  What a simple way to help the environment.  Thanks for such a great idea Mrs. Brady and 6W!

There will be a Q&A session from 3:30-4:20 in the cafeteria today for all 8th grade girls interested in joining the high school gymnastics team. Come meet with the freshman gymnastics coach and current team members to get an idea of what it is like to be part of high school gymnastics and to get answers to any questions you may have. We hope to see you there and can’t wait for you to become a member of the team!
