From the Sports Desk:

The 8th grade girls’ basketball team had their Harter tournament over the weekend and let me tell you, it was way more exciting than the super bowl.  The Vikings went 2 and 0 on Friday night to make the Gold division.  They battled against North in the semi- finals but came up short.  The girls rebounded nicely in the 3rd place game to beat Thompson.  Lauren Slagle, Erin Slagle, and Hanna Van Camp were named to the all-tournament team.  Great start to the season girls.
