Writer’s Club will meet for the last time this year on Tuesday, May 11th, after school. See Ms. Riley if you have any questions!

Just a reminder that today is choir day for our music students!

Like Usain Bolt, or Phoebe from Friends, the Geneva South track team zoomed past the competition this week.

The girls kicked things off on Wednesday evening.  Elizabeth Schulte, Alyssa Golden, Abbie Currie, and Mia Glasgow won a wire to wire 4 by 400 as Mia held off Wredling down the stretch.  Anna Lutzow was the champ in the high jump while Jo Davenport, Addison Skinner, and Kendall Browne were terrific in the hurdles.

The 7th grade boys won an impressive 4 by 200 relay.  Jackson Fuhrman blew past the Bulldogs in the final 100 to fly the W.  Caiden Newcomb, Luke Brown, and Matthew Lemke all ran stellar legs.  For the 8th graders, Tre McClose was a beast in the mile as he shaved ten seconds of his mile time, and Brayden Mitchell ran an unbelievable leg in the 4 by 400.  And finally, a special shout out to Ryan Kelly for his post-game celebration send off to Batavia.
