It was a big weekend for the 7th grade girls’ basketball team at the Kaneland Invitational. Friday night the girls had an epic battle in the second round with Juliet Whiston knocking in a clutch lay-up in the final seconds to force overtime. On Saturday, the girls steam rolled Kaneland with Mira Meyers and Gianna Oxler leading the charge. Unfortunately, the girls lost a tough one to Batavia. Congrats to Alyssa Flotte and Gianna Sala who were named All-Tournament Team.
