On Tuesday night the 7th grade girls stormed out of the gates to defeat Aurora and go to 3-0 on the season. Mira Meyers played great defense and had an awesome steal and coast to coast finish. On Wednesday the girls hosted North and played their tails off. Lyla Folden had a coast to coast "and one" finish of her own and capped it off with her best Beyoncé impersonation. The girls battled but couldn't quite finish the comeback.

The 7th Grade Girls Basketball B team showed up in full force Tuesday night against Aurora Jewel. Ella Weinberger was awesome with the boards and had a nice put-back. Bailey Dumas led the charge with 14. An impressive team effort and final score 28-6. The girls faced North at home last night holding them to 8 points in the half with their fiery man D. Anna Conley came away with several steals, while Gianna Oxler made some great plays on offense, knocking down a big shot for South to turn the tide. The girls were down and battled back but just couldn’t regain ground in time.
