You still have time to bring some toys for the children at Luther General Hospital! You can drop new and unused toys in the designated box in your team center by this Friday. Student Council has been donating toys for the past 5 years and are happy to continue doing so! Just a reminder due to germs, all items must be new and unused and stuffed animals cannot be accepted.

Join us in some Holiday Festivities next week by participating in Holiday Spirit Week! Monday may take a little less time to get ready in the morning since it is holiday pajama day! Tuesday, don’t worry about getting your hair all nice, just throw on a hat for holiday hat day, and Wednesday get all decked out in all your holiday gear and attire for your chance to win the coveted Holiday Bling Award! There will be one winner per team!
The tale may be as old as time, but this announcement is not! The 7th and 8th grade musical this year is Beauty and the Beast Junior. Auditions will Tuesday January 11 and Thursday January 13 from 3:30-4:20. You only need to come to one day of auditions. Please sign up in the main office and pick up the audition packet. Grab your friends from North and South and join the GMS bowling league! League will start Tuesday, February 1st and run through March 22nd. Cost is $50 and includes 2 games and shoes. Transportation will be provided from school to Funway, and parent/guardian pick-up from Funway. Pick up a permission slip in the main office!
A new dance team intramural, combined with North, will host tryouts on January 20 and 21. The dance team will learn choreographed routines and perform at basketball games. Register online and have a physical on file in the main office. More information will be available in the main office and the athletic website.
7th/8th grade Girls Basketball Tryouts will take place the Monday and Tuesday after break. Get registered online and be sure to have a current physical on file in the main office. Get this done before winter break so you don't forget!
