7th grade girls’ volleyball brought the heat last night and blew away the Jefferson Jayhawks. The A team took it in two with assists from Kate Hupke and Lauren Stachowicz. Kate led the team to victory with her strong passes while Lauren took it home with the game winning serve! The B team kept the streak going and swept away the competition in two matches. Phoebe Law had a ten serve win streak and scored 13 points total in our first match. Adrianna Carroll defended the net in the front row and won crucial points for the team.

Last night 8th grade girls’ volleyball “A” team took home a well-fought victory against Aurora-Jefferson. Outstanding serving from Caitie Potvin, strong net-play from MJ Wall, and exceptional passing from Megan Maertens helped solidify the win.

8th grade “B” put up a great fight, but lost in two in last night’s match. Lola Garcia was all over the court with great passing, and Isabella Sida had her best serves of the year.

Come support 8th Grade Volleyball tonight as they take on Thompson at home!
