Are you the next J.K. Rowling or C.S. Lewis? Do you like to write and explore your creativity? Are you interested in potentially publishing your work? Do you want to make new friends in a fun, laid-back environment? If so, the Creative Writing Club is for you! The first meeting is right around the corner, and you don't want to miss it. It will be held on Tuesday, October 19th in Ms. Riley's room from 3:30 to 4:30. Please see or email Ms. Riley in Room 265 with questions.

 

Can you sing, dance, play an instrument?  Are you funny, love the stage, or have a unique talent?  Then the Variety Show is just for you.  Come be part of the most entertaining show of the year.  Auditions are in two weeks.  Sign-up for an audition time beginning next week in the Main Office.  See Mr. Japlon in 7 White with any questions.

 

Calling all codebreakers ready to solve a mystery.  Come join Social Studies Club for a World War One Breakout Room and other fun activities on Monday after school until 4:25 in Mr. Fader's room in the 8 White Team Center. All are welcome!

 

Viking Alliance will meet again next Thursday, October 21 after school in the reading lounge until 4:20. If you have any questions, you can see Mrs. Rolf in the guidance office.

 

The first meeting of the Geneva Middle School South yearbook staff will be Monday, October 18th immediately after school until 4:30 in the library. Anyone with an interest in digital design and a desire to impact this year's commemorative yearbook is encouraged to attend. See Mr. Sempsrott in the 8W team center if you have questions.

 

Wrestling begins next week, October 18! If you are interested in participating or have any questions, contact Mr. Glade! Be sure to be registered by a parent on 8-to-18 and have an updated physical on file!
