The Generals of Washington traveled to Geneva South for the home opener against the Vikings 7th grade boys’ basketball A team.  The Vikings stifling defense allowed a total of 17 points, and South got hot scoring 18 second quarter points leading their way to a 30-point victory.  The Vikings defense was led by David Udiowood, and Logan Vandeusen.   Ben Peterson’s 10 points, Peyton Groves 9 points, and 5 points each from Tate Beran, John Tweed, and Jackson Snider led the Vikings to the Victory.  Next game is at Jefferson on Tuesday!

The 7th grade boys’ basketball B team emerged victorious last night versus the Aurora Washington Generals, winning by a score of 31-20.  Nick Norkus led all scorers with 10 points.  Sam Cervenka scored 8, while Noah Kettlewell and Ellis Dziadus both chipped in 4 points.  The win was a true team effort as all 12 players made major contributions.

It was a scary scene for Aurora Washington last night as the Vikings 8th grade boys’ basketball A team delivered no treats during their basketball game.  Cole “spooky” Steven dropped 5 points and Mason “the mummy” Folden scored 7 in his sleep.  The Viking won 32-15.

The 8th grade boys’ basketball B team had a dramatic win last night against Aurora Washington. With 90 seconds left to play and a neck and neck game, Logan Novay did the sneak attack and picked the pocket of Aurora Washington’s point guard to drive it in for the go ahead lay-up. Congrats on another great team win.
