Do you like to draw and paint? Art club is for you! Students will design and create their own Art projects and put on an Art show. All students are invited. Permission slips are in the art room and in the main office. 

 

It's time to level up your gameplay with the return of Viking Gamer Club.  Viking Gamer Club is back with the plan to meet on Fridays after school.  With a new space to hangout and new games, this is something no gamer wants to miss!  You can pick up a club sign-up form from the main office or from Mr. Rhea in Room 140.  All sign-up forms must be completed and returned to the office by Friday, September 10th.

 

Are you interested in playing a match of chess? Come join Geneva Middle School’s Chess Club! We will have snacks after school in Geneva Middle School South’s library and play 2 matches against an opponent! Chess club meets Thursday in South’s library from 3:30-4:25. All members must have a ride home or take the activity bus! If you have any questions please let Miss Swiderski know! See you there!

 

Congratulations to the cast of the 6th grade play! The cast list is posted outside Ms. Poppen's office and at the front doors of the school. Please remember our first rehearsal will be Tuesday in the general music room until 5:25.

 

Last night, the Geneva Middle School varsity football team squared off, on the road, against the Generals of Aurora Washington. Harrison Tincher opened the game with a 60-yard touchdown run and the Vikings never looked back. Quarterback Ben Peterson threw for two touchdowns, one to Nelson Wendell and another to Bennet Konkey. Cameron Ziegler and Jack Price added rushing scores as the Viking offense combined for 36 points. Lukas Costello led a tenacious Geneva defense, holding the Generals scoreless as the Vikings cruised to their second consecutive shutout of the season. Next up for the Vikings: Varsity at home next Thursday versus Aurora Herget.

 

7th and 8th grade students, today your computers will be audited. We are checking you are in possession of your own device and its physical state. Drop off your computer in your team center before you go to PE today and then pick it up after PE class.
