From the Sports Desk

The Geneva High School boys’ soccer program is looking for 8th grade boys interested in playing at halftime of the varsity game on Tri Cities night. The game will be Thursday October 10th and it will consist of Geneva's 8th grade boys playing St. Charles East's 8th grade boys. This is an event where the teams compete against each other on the field but come together off the field to raise money for a Batavia family in need. If any 8th grade boy is interested, they should contact Ms. Forni at the high school.  [email protected].

Yesterday, the seventh grade “A” volleyball team came out with a bang in their game against Thompson! Evelyn Gibbons showed off some impressive passes, and overall the team rallied to dominate their opponent. The “B” team was led with impressive net play by Rachel Davison, but unfortunately could not pull out a victory.
