From the Sports Desk

Unfortunately, the playoff ride for the 8th grade A team came to an end last night.  Ben Ribordy helped keep it close with his tenacious defense and aggressive attitude on offense, but the Vikings came up short and lost to undefeated Yorkville in the Final 4.  Despite the loss, it was a fantastic season for the Vikings as they captured some impressive wins while posting an 8-6 record.

T'was the night before the championship game and all through the gym, not a creature was stirring, except for Jack Fels on the 8th grade B team.  Jack did not have a silent night as he started the game with a pointer.  Kaden Modjeski might be on the naughty list after his huge block to seal the victory.  Tis on to the championship game!
