The Geneva Early Learning Program traveled to the Cosley Zoo in Wheaton before Spring Break! We had classroom time learning about “fur & feathers” in addition to visiting the animals.

Our Zoo Theme curriculum helped us explore and learn through play. Some of our activities included: giant zoo floor puzzles, “feed” the zoo animals in the sensory table, zoo animal bingo, counting fun with zoo animal 10 frames, zoo animal syllable count, animal art projects, creating a zoo, and of course, dramatic play as a zookeeper or dolphin trainer.
