ENGINEERING GRAPHICS
Prerequisite: None
Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12
Course Fee: ~ $10.00 
This beginning course in drafting allows students to study and work on a variety of topics related to mechanical drawing. We will be learning how to complete drawings in the areas of geometric construction, orthographic drawing, 3D modeling and isometrics. Measurement, dimensioning, sketching, spatial visualization and organizational skills will be other tools used to complete these tasks. Course discussion topics also include animation, manufacturing, game design, problem-solving and advances in technology. Computer and board drafting will be used to complete all projects. This is a beneficial course for anyone interested in engineering, product design and architecture as it is highly recommended by former students who have entered those fields. 
 
ENGINEERING GRAPHICS II
Prerequisite: Engineering Graphics I 
Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12
Course Fee: ~$10.00
This course picks up where Engineering Graphics ends. More time is spent on the details and drawings in the areas of sectioning, auxiliary, fasteners, descriptive geometry and assemblies. Students will also gain more experience in the areas of 3D modeling, assembly drawings and other topics becoming more widely used in the engineering related fields. Board and computer drafting, as well as other opportunities are all utilized to help students learn about the various parts of engineering and design. This course is recommended for anyone interested in any field related to engineering and design.
