This course is designed for students desiring a solid background in the basics of music theory. Topics covered in Music Theory include key signatures, intervals, chords and chord progressions, voice leading and ear training. This course should be considered a requirement for students wishing to major in music at the college level. It is strongly suggested that students have prior knowledge of music reading for this class.
This course provides students with the opportunity to explore in greater depth topics covered in Music Theory I.
