GHS Parents and Students:
As you may know, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) accepted a bid from the College Board to have the SAT replace the ACT as the college entrance exam provided to all 11th graders across the state. Students are not required to register or pay for this exam. Juniors will take an official SAT exam (with the essay portion) in April.
In preparation of this change, all junior students will be taking a practice SAT exam (the PSAT/NMSQT) in October, and freshmen and Sophomores will also take a practice SAT exam in April
