Enrolling for 2024-25 School Year

It's important to register for kindergarten ASAP in the spring for the following school year to ensure that you receive important communications and don't miss any information about your school's Taste of Kindergarten event. Taste of Kindergarten events occur later this spring and are designed to introduce you and your child to some important aspects of kindergarten in Geneva 304.

Please follow the steps below.

Kindergarten Enrollment

Below are three steps to enroll your kindergartner, which must be completed before they are considered officially enrolled in Geneva School District. This process is completed online. Families are asked to complete steps 1-2 to begin the online kindergarten enrollment process. Step 3 will be completed later in the enrollment process.

State law requires that children must be 5 on or before Sept.1, 2024, to be eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2024-25 school year. Starting the online enrollment process as soon as possible will help their child's school make necessary preparations.

If your child currently attends the Geneva Early Learning Program and will attend Kindergarten next year, you do not need to complete this enrollment application. Please look for additional information coming from GELP.

About the Post-Enrollment Process

Once the district enrollment process is complete and accepted, you will receive additional information via email about the following steps:
  • Create a PushCoin account: PushCoin is the application families use to fund lunch balances, shop the web store, and pay for school related fees and items. Each student has a unique registration code. Upon signing up for an account, a parent/guardian can link each child using the provided registration code. Please allow for up to 24 hours after receiving the enrollment acceptance email for PushCoin.
  • Register your child at the school they will be attending: Each school has its own registration process and required documents. Registration information will be communicated by K-8 schools in April and high school in June.
  • Log into Home Access Center: HAC provides families with helpful information about your student, and is updated in July with information for the upcoming school year. Families with children already enrolled in the District do not need to create a new HAC account. New families will receive information during the summer on how to create a new account. For additional information on how to register for an account, please visit the Home Access Center information page, and find the section titled "New to Geneva CUSD 304?". For HAC support, please contact [email protected] or 630-463-3097.
  • Next, complete and turn in Medical Forms to your school's main office. Details can be found here. For Kindergarten, each student needs:
    • An Illinois State physical examination form completed by a doctor
    • Complete immunization record meeting IDPH minimum immunization requirements
    • An eye examination form
    • Dental examination form.
